Right to Repair: servicing outside the dealer without losing your warranty
The guidelines have been in force since 2021. Here is what they actually let you do, and the paperwork that keeps you covered.

Since July 2021, South African motorists can service and repair their vehicles at any workshop of their choice without the manufacturer voiding the warranty, provided the work meets the manufacturer’s specification.
What keeps you covered
The oil and parts must meet spec. The schedule must be followed. The work must be documented. We do all three, and you leave with a digital record and a stamped book. If a dealer ever queries it, the paperwork answers the question.
